There was a parking lot right by the waterfalls in Kagawong, but it was full when we arrived, so we found another just down the street.  We started down the trail and immediately to our right was a viewing platform offering an awesome view of the falls.

Taking some stairs downward, there were several other viewing platforms to see different angles of the falls.  When we made it to the bottom of the stairs, there was an unofficial trail leading to the falls where we could really take in the sheer size of them.  I even took my shoes off to walk behind them.

The trail followed the river as it wound its way down to Madge Bay. Halfway to the bay, there was a bridge. We stayed on the near side and continued down the trail at the bottom of the steep river valley. There were banks built up to prevent a flood from changing the rivers course. Along the hike we passed a rather large pumping station. There were also plentiful species of flowers, with daffodils really standing out.  Keep a watch out for poison ivy while you walk, as there were signs all over warning hikers.

When we made it to the bay, we crossed to the other side and hiked up the far bank. The far bank didn't seem as well maintained, but that made for more interesting hiking.  We eventually made it to the bridge and crossed since it was the last crossing to get back to the other side.  Then we just followed the trail back up to our car.  There are more trails on the other side, but we lacked the time to explore them all.
